SS Photograph Study

This set of images are in the form of post card sized photos and are numberd on the reverse. The numbers on the reverse of these 2 images are in the 20's, so it stands to reason the set was quite large and then broken up. They were a steal at 25 bucks each from a postcard dealer. The guy never even knew it was Himmler in the 1st image!!! Looks like the RFSS were out in numbers on this day. If these images could talk. A very nice image above, showing Himmler and several of his RFSS members. This image is 1936 or later due to the chained SS shown. 3rd from the left is Gauleiter Dr. Otto Hellmuth. H.Himmler is 4th from the left and is shown with his degen. Far right is Obergruppenfuhrer Karl Wolff. As I can i.d. these guys I'll update the listing.

This image is far better than the first one. A really fantastic study for the 36' chained SS the early 1933 standard SS dagger, the SS degen, cloth, peak hats,cuff titles, insignia. Karl Wolff is center right with the white SS dress gloves and the SS degen in wear. Gauleiter Otto Hellmuth is named on the reverse of the image and is center in this image. Looks like Wolff(with the white SS dress gloves) is putting the SS man with the drink on the hot seat. The man with the RFSS cuff title looks to be enjoying the surprise. A sticky postition to be in back in the day I'm sure! Anyway, thats my take. I am sure some socializing and duties of the day were also at hand.
